LoviSil® Loop Joints

Application: direct installation of 2 cables in a stop end module becoming a loop
Type of cable: universal use for paper-insulated (PILC, PICAS)
and polymeric cables (XLPE, EPR)
Advantages: – less excavation work
– less cable needed
– sub station redundant
– shorter assembly time
Connection possibilities: – single and multi-core cables
– small and large cable cross sections
– armored and non-armored cables
Rated voltage: 12 kV up to 36 kV
Conductor cross section: 70 to 1000 mm²
Outer cable diameter: max. up to 87 mm
Material enclosure joint: ABS (red)
Filling resin installation enclosure: silicone, liquid (LoviSil®)
Filling resin joint: polyurethane (2-component PUR-resin)
Water pressure test: 2 bar
